Prep the trailer before paint.
There are many different paint brands, paint types, and paint formulas used today. Paints are also applied in many different application forms; however, in our opinion with any paint job quality comes down to the prep work done before the trailer or equipment is painted. We often say the quality of the paint job isn’t the paint it’s the prep work. There is many ways to prep before paint: washing, chemical etching, hand sanding, and media blasting. We have found media (sand) blasting to be the best way to clean and prep a trailer before painting.
